I’m a therapist based in Los Angeles and provide virtual and in-person therapy for clients in California. I specialize in working with people who are struggling in their relationships, often due to big life transitions. I work with a variety of clients: couples, new moms, partnerships ending, anxious men, and relational trauma. Life is full of changes that impact how we see ourselves and other people, and I'm passionate about helping clients navigate through the shifting landscapes of their lives.
I recognize that the therapeutic connection is an opportunity for developing greater understanding, acceptance, and growth. Using empathy, humor, and curiosity while offering a space of safety to process life's challenges. I care deeply for my clients, and I'm also able to hold them accountable (in a gentle way) when necessary.
I'm a registered associate marriage and family therapist (#143988) and a registered associate professional clinical counselor (#15473) working in private practice under the supervision of Aurisha Smolarski, LMFT (#90391). I am a PMH-C, which is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional.
I earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. For my undergraduate career, I graduated magna cum laude with dual undergraduate degrees from the Honors College at The University of Georgia. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a doula and childbirth educator, and in the entertainment industry, which has led me to creatively approach this work. More recently, I have completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Trauma Resiliency Method (TRM), Postpartum Support International (PSI), American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), as well as grief and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Finding what will make you feel expansive is at the heart of my work. My sessions with clients are something I cherish. I look forward to meeting you where you’re at and working with you to build a more honored and empowered life.
